Welcome to the Lake Tahoe Chapter, NSDAR

Lake Tahoe Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR), is chartered in South Lake Tahoe, California. It was formally recognized as a chapter on February 5, 2019, in an area where there was no DAR presence.  The nearest chapters are at least an hour away in all directions. Chapter members range in age from 20 to 75. They are professional women, homemakers, students, volunteers, and retirees.  They come from many walks of life and have many different philosophies.  However, they are united in their love of country, their commitment to community service and historic preservation, and their spirit of friendship.

Lake Tahoe Chapter, NSDAR, Daughters are already making a difference in the communities of the Lake Tahoe Basin. They are supporting military veterans and homeless students at Lake Tahoe Community College and honoring those who follow the path to United States citizenship.  They are also working toward the restoration and preservation of a local historical cemetery that has suffered from neglect and vandalism.

We invite you to explore membership in this active, friendly, and growing chapter.
